Authorities in Goa have apprehended two men and the hotel owner following the alleged rape of three underage girls at a Calangute hotel. The perpetrators, aged 19 and 21, reportedly used an Eid celebration and a birthday party as a pretext to invite the victims. Investigations revealed that the 19-year-old befriended a 15-year-old girl on social media before extending the invitation. The police investigation, prompted by a family complaint, led to the rescue of the girls and the subsequent arrests. The hotel’s operations have been suspended, and its license revoked due to violations of the Goa Children’s Act.
