Global Stakeholders Gather in Gujarat for Circular Economy Discussions

The World Circular Economy Forum 2026 will serve as a platform for over 2,000 participants from 65 countries to exchange ideas on circular solutions. High‑level officials such as Gujarat's Minister of Forests, Environment and Climate Change, Arjunbhai Modhwadia, and Finland's Ambassador Mikko Kiiskinen will join Union and state senior officials in the opening ceremony. The agenda includes four main sessions and sixteen parallel tracks that will cover AI applications, employment prospects, renewable energy generation, financing models, governance frameworks, durable product design, industrial innovations, start‑up ecosystems and youth leadership. The accompanying expo will feature more than 125 exhibitors presenting tangible circular technologies and investment‑ready projects. The forum also aligns with India's recent appointment as co‑chair of the 10‑Year Framework of Programmes, underscoring the country's leadership in promoting sustainable consumption and production worldwide.
