New mining ecosystem in Gadchiroli to trigger clean green steel revolution

An exhibition showcasing the latest mining research was inaugurated by the chief minister alongside officials from the Institution of Engineers (India). The showcase highlighted cutting‑edge extraction techniques, critical mineral processing and mine‑closure protocols. According to Fadnavis, the abundance of iron ore in Gadchiroli, together with nearby districts such as Chandrapur, Bhandara, Nagpur, Gondia and Yavatmal, can nurture a self‑sustaining industrial ecosystem driven by green steel, clean technology and improved logistics.
