South Tripura sees fresh leadership in BJP women’s wing across 7 mandals

The BJP’s women’s wing, Mahila Morcha, has completed a full roster of new presidents for all seven mandals in South Tripura. The official list names Tulu Rani Debnath (34‑Rajnagar) and Sharmishtha Debnath (35‑Belonia) as the first two leaders.

Simple Riaang will guide the 36‑Santir Bazaar mandal, Reena Debnath the 37‑Rishyamukh mandal, and Mita Pandit the 38‑Jolaibadi mandal. The remaining two posts go to Chumki Paul for 39‑Manu and Monorama Baidya De for 40‑Sabroom.

Party sources say the reshuffle is intended to fortify the organisational base, increase the Mahila Morcha’s activation, and ensure greater participation in forthcoming electoral and outreach activities.

The decision has been well received by party workers, who have extended congratulations and anticipate that the new presidents will drive a renewed momentum in the district’s political landscape.
