Vijay Sharma highlighted a forthcoming humanitarian drive to assist residents of Bastar who have suffered injuries from improvised explosive devices (IEDs) placed near rivers, ponds and schools. A three‑day free camp will be held from 15 to 17 October in Jagdalpur under the "Seva Sankalp Mahayabhiyan", offering prosthetic limbs, calipers, hearing aids and other assistive devices. Similar camps are planned in Dantewada during the same period. Over 3,000 people have already registered, and the first phase targets Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur and Bastar districts.
