Former CM Kejriwal's broader solar scheme sidelined by BJP amendments

Priyanka Kakkar asserted that the Kejriwal administration's solar policy was designed to encourage installations across residential, industrial and commercial segments. The policy also featured a generation‑based incentive that paid a fixed amount for every unit of power generated. Kakkar accused the BJP of stripping away this clause and limiting benefits to households alone, thereby compromising Delhi's goal of reducing pollution and achieving energy self‑sufficiency.
