Foreign Nationals Targeted in Crypto Call Centre Scam, Authorities Freeze ₹187 Crore

A team of 36 employees, including managers Joni, Dakshay Sethi and Gaurav Verma, ran the illegal call centre ‘DigitCaps – The Future of Digital’. They duped U.S. citizens, extracted sensitive information, threatened IRS action and convinced victims to transfer money into cryptocurrency accounts. The proceeds were later funneled into fictitious firms such as Bliss InfraProperties LLP before being invested in real estate.
