Five people hospitalized after Inova car loses control in Indore's Rau area

In the Rau locality of Indore, a high‑speed Inova sedan lost control on the afternoon of August 26, leading to a multi‑vehicle collision that left five people injured. The car first struck an Activa scooter, then three motorcycles, and finally collided with an oncoming tractor, which toppled over as a result of the impact.

The injured parties—Rajpal Singh, Bhagat Singh, Pawan, Mustafa and an additional victim—were immediately transported to a nearby private hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

Police officials, including ACP Nidhi Saxena, confirmed that the Inova vehicle was confiscated and its driver, identified as Aman, was placed in police custody. The authorities have also taken possession of the damaged two‑wheelers and the tractor for forensic examination.

Traffic in the vicinity was temporarily halted while officers secured the area, removed debris and ensured the safety of other commuters. The investigation is ongoing, with investigators gathering statements from witnesses to piece together the cause of the driver’s loss of control.
