Firozabad Police Recover 25,000 Rupee Bounty After Shooting Suspect

In a separate incident, Firozabad law enforcement officers recovered a 25,000‑rupee reward after a violent encounter with a criminal known as Sunny alias Saniya. The suspect was part of a joint operation involving the Rasulpur police station and the SG team.

Sunny faces more than a dozen criminal cases, including a recent robbery where he pretended to offer a lift to a man named Vicky, only to pocket 30,000 rupees after a pocket‑picking assault. During the raid, the suspect opened fire on officers, striking his own leg and collapsing. He was subsequently taken into custody.

Police seized an illegal firearm, ammunition, and cash exceeding 10,000 rupees from his possession.
