Delhi law‑enforcement officials filed a first‑information report after a protester was injured in a clash outside Connaught Place on October 9. The individual, identified as Fahim Nazir Shah, reported being beaten after chanting slogans demanding respect for the Prime Minister, Home Minister and the police.
