Fatal Tiger Encounter at Jaipur’s Nahargarh Park Triggers Safety Probe

A tragic tiger encounter at Nahargarh Biological Park in Jaipur resulted in the death of a female sanitation worker on September 2. The worker was cleaning near fence number 16 when the tiger named "Shivaji" attacked abruptly. Despite the immediate response of fellow employees, the victim could not be rescued. Following the incident, senior wildlife wardens and police officials inspected the area and began collecting initial evidence. The forest department has opened a formal probe to determine whether standard operating procedures were adhered to and whether the fence gates were correctly closed. The body has been transferred to the morgue, and the family has been notified of the loss.
