Family of Vishal Ramnani Presses for Answers After Body Recovery

The relatives of missing Bhopal lawyer Vishal Ramnani have called for a swift and transparent investigation after his body was recovered on railway tracks near Bhopal station. The 29‑year‑old advocate, who practiced at the Bhopal District Court, vanished on the night of October 5.

Garima Ramnani, his sister and fellow lawyer, reported her brother missing after he failed to return home. She told police that he was last seen walking with a friend around 11 p.m. The family’s attempts to contact him later that night were unsuccessful, as his mobile phone was turned off.

Search teams uncovered the lawyer’s phone in a scooter storage compartment near his house, yet no additional evidence surfaced. The police registered a missing‑person case and later an unnatural‑death case with the Government Railway Police, who are now examining the circumstances of the discovery.

A court official confirmed that Ramnani had attended a court session on October 5, the day he disappeared. The family hopes the ongoing probe will shed light on the events leading up to his tragic death.
