Family Grieves as Boy Electrocuted on School Grounds in Uttar Pradesh

The family of 12‑year‑old Utkarsh Gupta is engulfed in sorrow after his death due to an electric shock at a private school in Gajipur's Jangipur jurisdiction. According to his uncle, Deepak Gupta, the school had erected a wire only a few feet above the ground to keep monkeys away, and the child inadvertently touched it while playing. The school administration allegedly failed to inform the relatives promptly; they learned about the incident only after reaching the district hospital. Deepak described the scene as chaotic, with the father unable to speak due to shock. Local authorities have taken note of the complaint, and an investigation is underway.
