Investigators say the abduction of a 21‑year‑old married woman in western Bangalore may be linked to a family disagreement. The couple married against the wishes of the bride’s relatives and relocated to the city, where the husband runs an electrical‑goods store. According to police, the woman's parents allegedly offered a sum of money to a group of individuals to facilitate the kidnapping. The suspects entered the house under the pretense of renting a room, claiming a family member from Rajasthan would visit. No formal rental agreement had been signed.
