Face-2 Police Bust Theft Ring, Confiscate Generator, Alternator and Auto Rickshaw

The Noida Face‑2 police station acted on precise local intelligence on July 15, leading to a successful crackdown on a small theft syndicate. Officers surrounded a location by the Shmashan Ghat, detaining two suspects identified as Mohsin Ishfaq Ali (28) and Brijesh Yadav (22). Items recovered from the suspects included a stolen generator, its matching alternator, and the auto‑rickshaw utilized during the robbery. Brijesh Yadav's criminal history surfaced during the investigation, revealing a 2018 POCSO case and a 2021 fraud charge. The auto‑rickshaw has been seized under Section 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Police continue to interrogate the duo to determine if they participated in earlier thefts or operated within a larger gang.
