EPS Responds to Calls for Dinakaran’s Return, Cites His Separate Party

General secretary E.P.S. Palaniswami addressed the growing chorus of demands for T.T.V. Dinakaran’s reinstatement during the same district gatherings. While acknowledging the enthusiasm of party workers, Palaniswami reminded the attendees that Dinakaran is currently leading a separate political outfit, which limits any immediate re‑integration.

He noted that AMMK remains an independent organization under Dinakaran’s leadership, and that any decision on reunification would require a broader consensus within AIADMK’s top leadership.

Despite the clarification, supporters reiterated their confidence that Dinakaran’s eventual return would reunite the fragmented vote bank and strengthen AIADMK’s electoral outlook.
