Deputy Recruitment at EMS Patna: Age Limit, Salary Range and Application Steps
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Patna has issued a fresh deputation notice for eleven Group‑A posts. The vacancies comprise a Superintending Engineer, Chief Librarian, Senior Analyst (System Analyst), Hospital Architect, Senior Procurement‑Com‑Stores Officer, Chief Medical Social Service Officer, CSSD Officer, two Senior Dietitians (Assistant Food Managers), Chief Medical Record Officer and Supervising Medical Social Service Officer.

Eligibility highlights: • Superintending Engineer – Civil Engineering graduate. • Chief Librarian – Master’s in Science (preferably Biological Sciences) with a Library Science degree or equivalent diploma. • Senior Analyst – M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, plus 15 years of experience in IT systems, networking, hardware configuration or software development. • Hospital Architect – Degree in Architecture and at least five years of relevant experience. • Senior Procurement‑Com‑Stores Officer – Current central/state/UT government or autonomous body officer, with at least five years of regular service at the Rs 5,400 grade and five years of stores‑officer experience. • Chief Medical Social Service Officer – MA/MSW in Social Work, five years of medical‑social‑welfare experience, and good knowledge of government aid schemes. • CSSD Officer – Officer serving in an equivalent post in central/state/autonomous organizations. • Senior Dietitians – MSc in Home Science (Food & Nutrition) or related nutrition disciplines. • Chief Medical Record Officer – Qualification in medical record keeping, proficiency in office applications, spreadsheets, presentations and typing skill in English or Hindi. • Supervising Medical Social Service Officer – Officer from a central/state/UT government, autonomous or public‑sector body attached to a hospital with at least 200 beds.
The maximum age limit is 56 years, calculated as of the date of form submission. Salary for the selected candidates will range from Rs 56,100 to Rs 215,900 per month, depending on the appointment.
The deputation period will initially be three years and may be extended up to five years as per the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) guidelines.
