Empowering Women: FCCI FLo’s Fourth Vibrant Verv Showcases Local Crafts

The fourth edition of the "Power to Empower: Vibrant Verv" exhibition, held in Jammu, underscored the role of women in economic development. Young entrepreneurs such as Shiny Sharma from the Army Wives Welfare Association highlighted how empowerment goes beyond income, fostering confidence, personality growth and greater social participation. Dr. Ritu Singh, founding chairperson of FCCI FLo J&K‑Ladakh, reflected on five years of progress, noting a surge in startups across bakery, apparel, jewellery, event management and digital marketing. She credited government initiatives and MSME support for creating a fertile environment where women can launch and scale businesses.
