Emergency Teams Extract Child from 400-Foot Borewell Near Lakshmangarh

A nine‑year‑old from Butoli village, Lakshmangarh block, Alwar, was saved after falling into a deep, abandoned borewell estimated at 400 feet. Rescue units comprising SDRF, NDRF, the Sub‑Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar, DSP and SHOs worked together, using excavators and supplying oxygen and water. After nearly five hours, the child was hoisted out alive, examined medically and the operation ended with applause from onlookers.
