Election symbol dispute and temple issues highlighted by Saugat Roy

Saugat Roy, a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, spoke about two unrelated but pressing matters. First, he said the Trinamool Congress is in talks regarding the allocation of a new election symbol, as the Election Commission has not yet assigned one.

Second, Roy turned his attention to the Kalighat Temple, noting that the temple's president is the district judge. He urged that proper administrative principles be applied in the management of this historic shrine.

He assured that both the symbol controversy and the temple administration will receive the necessary guidance from senior party officials.
