Election Season Focus: Rahul Gandhi’s Two-Day Campaign in Rae Bareli

Rae Bareli, September 8 – As the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections approach, Rahul Gandhi is set to commence a two‑day campaign in his home constituency. The state’s law‑enforcement agencies have put in place robust security protocols to manage the leader’s schedule.

The centerpiece of the agenda is the Disha meeting, a district‑level development coordination forum. Gandhi will chair the session, scrutinising the progress of government‑led projects, evaluating pending matters, and seeking clarification on issues flagged by local officials.
