In Ranchi, the student movement against perceived malpractices in state recruitment tests has formalised its approach by selecting an 11‑person team to engage with the Jharkhand government.

The core of the delegation consists of eight students – Ravindr Passwan, Piyush Kumar Singh, Ravindr Kumar Ravi, Rajesh Prasad, Nitu Kujur, Kartik Soren, Sandeep Kumar and Shalu Singh – who will articulate the movement’s demands.

Joining them are journalists Shambhunath Chaudhary and Vikas Verma, together with advocate Ajit Kumar. Both the press members and the lawyer have been asked to maintain a purely advisory role, refraining from making any statements or presenting arguments on behalf of the protestors.

The team has also decided that no audio‑visual recording devices will be permitted within the meeting space, aiming to safeguard a focused and transparent negotiation process.
