₹4 Crore Drug Smuggler Properties Razed in Jammu Crackdown

Jammu authorities have intensified their fight against narcotics by razing three high-value properties linked to a known drug trafficker. The demolished structures, estimated at four crore rupees, were located in Miran Sahib and belonged to Navjot Singh alias Babloo, who is accused of building his real-estate empire on illegal drug money. The demolition drive was executed under a coordinated effort between Jammu zone police and civil administration. Officials confirmed that all three buildings were purchased with proceeds from narcotics smuggling, part of a larger syndicate that has plagued the border districts for years. Navjot Singh, already facing fifteen criminal cases, is described by police as a repeat offender whose activities have harmed countless young lives. During the operation, senior officers including the SP Headquarters and SDPO RS Pura supervised proceedings alongside revenue officials. The entire exercise was conducted peacefully with adequate security in place. Locals gathered to witness the action and expressed relief, noting that destroying such assets would weaken the financial muscle of drug lords. Police have vowed to maintain pressure on narcotics networks through sustained enforcement. The administration emphasized that this demolition is only the beginning of a broader campaign aimed at choking the economic lifelines of smugglers and restoring safety to Jammu communities.
