Clash Between ABVP and NSUI Escalates at DU North Campus

Tensions flared on the night of 16 September when two student groups – the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) – engaged in a violent confrontation at Delhi University’s North Campus. ABVP accused NSUI members of assaulting its cadres near a residence close to the Hari Mandir area while the group was holding a peaceful meeting. According to ABVP, a female student was also present during the incident. The organization claimed that one of the alleged attackers was handed over to the police for further action.
