Drone survey identifies 45 drains feeding waste into Lucknow's Goti

A recent aerial survey using drones uncovered twelve previously unrecorded drains in addition to the 33 listed in municipal records, bringing the total to 45 discharge points along the 30‑kilometre stretch of the Goti River. Of these, twelve have already been tapped, handling about 75 MLD of flow. Five drains required no tapping, while the remaining 28, either untouched or partially tapped, release an estimated 260 MLD of untreated sewage into the river.
