The town of Doda has intensified its "Har Ghar Tiranga" outreach ahead of Independence Day. The municipal council, through its ward‑level teams, distributes national flags to homes and shops, providing guidance on proper hoisting and respectful display.

Executive Officer Ravi Saini explained that the council's volunteers have been active for several days, visiting markets and residential areas to raise awareness. Their aim is to ensure every citizen knows how to honour the flag, fostering a sense of pride and collective responsibility.

The campaign has seen a surge in community participation, with many families proudly unfurling the tricolour on their doorsteps, echoing the spirit of unity across the region.
