DMK MP calls out selective outrage on NEET protests and police action

Addressing the ongoing controversy over the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), the DMK parliamentarian said exposing alleged irregularities in the examination process is insufficient. Parties that claim to speak for Tamil Nadu must explicitly demand the scrapping of NEET, a demand he says has lingered for years.

Ramasamy also condemned the inconsistent response to student protests, noting that police action against demonstrators in Delhi and Tamil Nadu has been downplayed by many leaders. He labeled this silence as another form of betrayal, highlighting the selective anger displayed by the political class.
