DM Inspects Roads, Drains and Waste Management Before Fair

District Magistrate Shashank Shubhangkar conducted a ground inspection that stretched from Nadarganj through Ramsagar to Chand Chowra. He examined the condition of roads, storm‑water drains and sanitation facilities surrounding the fair venue. Immediate removal of loose stones near a district school was ordered, and the municipal commissioner was told to stop any unnecessary digging in the fair zone. Existing pits must be levelled within five days and drainage cleared of blockages. The road‑building department received directives to smooth and, where required, black‑top both sides of the Nadarganj‑Ramsagar stretch, and to ensure proper runoff from the Sun Temple area. A pending conduit near Sudha Parlour in Chand Chowra must be completed by September 10.
