Key Districts Lead in Potential Voter Exclusions Ahead of 2026 Elections

The highest concentrations of potentially excluded voters are in Pune (28.70 lakh), Thane (28.61 lakh), Mumbai Suburban (26.63 lakh), Nagpur (14.44 lakh), Nasik (10.29 lakh) and Mumbai City (9.52 lakh). District administrations uploaded provisional exclusion lists on their collector websites four days before the verification drive ended, allowing recognized political parties to cross‑check the data through Booth Level Agents (BLAs). BLOs were instructed to verify feedback from parties and give eligible voters a chance to submit their forms before the final roll is prepared.
