Digvijay Singh's march labeled a political stunt by BJP leader

Hyderabad, October 5 – Ramchandra Rao dismissed the upcoming Digvijay Singh pilgrimage from Ujjain to Ayodhya as a “show‑off” meant to raise alarm among citizens. Rao argued that the BJP has already taken steps to curb communal tension, and any claims to the contrary are fabricated by the Congress to damage the party’s image.

According to Rao, the rally’s real objective is to spread misinformation about the RSS and the BJP, creating a false narrative of religious persecution. He pointed out that the Congress’s own history is replete with instances of communal polarization, and the current leadership continues that legacy under the guise of safeguarding minority rights.

The BJP chief called on Digvijay Singh to cease spreading divisive rhetoric and to focus on genuine public service, stating that a political agenda masquerading as a religious pilgrimage only sows discord.
