DGPI Highlights Technology-Driven Policing Gains in Rajasthan

During the six‑month report session, DGP Sharma outlined how digital tools have strengthened law enforcement across Rajasthan. Cyber policing units have been expanded, and data‑analytics platforms now support faster identification of drug‑smuggling networks and illegal weapon channels.

The police also reported a rise in the recovery of assets seized from organised crime, with the recovery rate for robbery increasing to 79.09% from 71%. These figures reflect the impact of surveillance systems, real‑time crime mapping and mobile forensic kits deployed in district stations.

Going forward, the DGP pledged to integrate artificial‑intelligence‑based predictive policing models, aiming to disrupt criminal financing before offences materialise.
