DG Anand meets Warangal martyr families, issues QR‑enabled cards

While touring Warangal districts, DGP C V Anand interacted with members of 28 families whose loved ones were martyred while combating Naxalites. He handed out QR‑code family cards that link directly to the TG-Veer portal, allowing relatives to file grievances instantly. The DGP urged the Special Investigation Bureau officers behind the portal’s development to circulate the access details across all police stations, ensuring a comprehensive collection of complaints.

The families highlighted pending issues such as delayed compassionate funds, land allocation doubts, pension discrepancies, and other welfare benefits. Anand assured them that the portal would serve as a single point of contact and that the state would act swiftly to resolve each matter.
