The Sawan month is considered especially auspicious for viewing Lord Mahakal, and the temple witnessed a crowd many times larger than on ordinary days. At sunrise, the temple’s pat was opened, and devotees rushed in chanting “Jai Shri Mahakal.” After the ceremonial opening, drums and conches announced the unveiling of the deity’s doors. The divine adornment ceremony, known as Bhav Aarti, was followed by a spectacular ash‑aarti. The atmosphere was charged with devotion as the entire complex echoed with chants, prayers, and the rhythmic beats of traditional instruments.
