Development Drive in Kashi, Gorakhpur and Buddha Circuit Praised by UP Minister

Minister Asim Arun lauded the rapid development occurring in key regions of Uttar Pradesh, including Kashi (Varanasi) and Gorakhpur. He contrasted the pre‑2014 condition of Kashi with its present state, noting significant infrastructure upgrades and enhanced public services. Arun also addressed political rhetoric surrounding Buddha, dismissing allegations of insincere reverence by opposition leaders. He presented the state’s commitment to strengthening the Buddha circuit, citing a dedicated budget of ₹4,200 crore aimed at improving tourist amenities and heritage sites. The minister also mentioned the completion of the Kushinagar International Airport, positioning it as a further boost to regional connectivity and economic growth.
