Deputy CM Diya Kumari Highlights Economic Impact of New Refinery and Metro Phase‑2

During a press briefing following the Pachpadra refinery inauguration, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari outlined the broader economic implications of the twin projects. She emphasized that the refinery, together with Jaipur Metro Phase‑2, forms a cornerstone of Rajasthan’s ambition to become a logistics and manufacturing hub.

Kumari indicated that the combined investment of over ₹1.05 lakh crore will funnel capital into construction, engineering, and technology sectors, thereby generating high‑skill employment. The metro extension is slated to improve urban mobility, reduce congestion, and attract commercial activity along its corridor.

She also highlighted the role of Prime Minister Modi’s visionary guidance in steering these initiatives, noting that the state’s progress depends on decisive leadership and coordinated execution.

In addition to industrial benefits, Kumari pointed out that the projects will bolster the state’s fiscal health by increasing tax revenues and encouraging private sector participation. The expected multiplier effect is likely to raise household incomes and stimulate demand for education, healthcare, and housing.

The Deputy Chief Minister concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to delivering world‑class infrastructure that aligns with the aspirations of Rajasthan’s citizens.
