Another Delhi stepparent assault case highlighted after recent scandal

The Jahangirpur incident mirrors a similar case that surfaced a few months earlier in Delhi, where a step‑father was accused of repeatedly molesting his step‑daughter, eventually causing an unwanted pregnancy. That investigation resulted in the arrest of the accused after the victim disclosed ongoing abuse and threats of death for non‑compliance. Both cases underscore the growing concern over child sexual exploitation within families and the need for swift legal action under the POCSO framework.
