Delhi Sikh Committee Files Police Complaint Against Kejriwal

Harmit Singh Kalka, head of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, announced on X that a complaint will be lodged against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his associates for alleged misconduct at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The grievance cites unlawful entry attempts, the chanting of political slogans, and the distribution of misleading videos aimed at tarnishing the management of the shrine.

The committee described the Gurudwara as a timeless symbol of kindness and altruism that welcomes people without discrimination. Kalka condemned the politicisation of the sacred space, asserting that the AAP’s portrayal of police presence inside the Gurudwara was fabricated.

He further clarified that while some footage shows police vehicles leaving the area via Ashoka Road, no officers entered the sanctuary, the Langar Hall, or the Darbar Hall. Security personnel ensured that the premises remained free of any political activity.

The pending complaint will be submitted to the DCP office on Parliament Street, seeking investigation into the alleged attempts to defame the Gurudwara and the obstruction of lawful police action.
