Delhi Security Tightened for CJP Rally; Paswan Emphasizes Youth's Unstoppable Spirit
Authorities in Delhi have transformed the city into a high‑security zone ahead of a planned CJP rally, deploying more than 23,000 security personnel. The police had earlier denied permission for the protest, citing non‑compliance with legal directives and previous assurances. As a result, 57 metro stations were ordered to close their entry and exit points from Friday night. In response, the Supreme Court instructed the central government to keep metro and railway services running to minimize public inconvenience. Minister Chirag Paswan, speaking after a university ceremony, reiterated that the nation's youth cannot be restrained by train cancellations or road blockades, and that they possess the power to chart new directions for the country.
