Delhi Police Probe Mysterious Death of Airline Pilot Staying at The Grand Hotel

A pilot serving as captain for a major airline was found dead under unexplained conditions at the Grand Hotel in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj locality. The hotel received a notification on Friday that the guest was feeling unwell, and the police were dispatched immediately.

The police team discovered the captain unresponsive and without vital signs. After an emergency transfer to Safdarjung Hospital, he was pronounced dead. The hotel manager later recounted that the brother of the deceased had raised alarm when calls went unanswered, leading staff to break into a locked room with a master key. A forensic post‑mortem scheduled for the following day will clarify the cause of death, and the investigation proceeds under relevant sections of the law.
