Delhi police bail Abhijeet Dipke, others after preventive arrest over protest

Delhi police released Abhijeet Dipke, along with activists Ashutosh Ranka and Saurabh Das, on Sunday morning after a preventive detention under sections 126 and 170 of the BNSS Act. The three were arrested on Saturday while traveling to attend a protest in the capital.

According to a police statement, all legal formalities were observed. The detainees were presented before the Executive Magistrate Court at Delhi Cantt, where they posted a bail bond of ₹50,000 each, pledging a year of good behavior.

The court ordered their release, allowing them to resume their political activities. The decision came just as the family of Dipke was dealing with the death of his grandmother in Hingoli, adding emotional strain to the legal proceedings.
