Delhi officials assist VP in filing accurate electoral roll data

New Delhi, 4 July – On Saturday, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan filed his duly completed SIR (Special Intensive Review) questionnaire at the Vice President’s house, with the assistance of Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer Ashok Kumar and a team of election staff.

The officials guided the Vice President through the verification steps, ensuring that each entry on the form matched the latest data available with the Election Commission. The collaborative effort showcased the administrative commitment to a transparent review process.

In his address, the Vice President reiterated the necessity of a flawless voter list for strengthening India’s democracy. He urged all eligible voters to verify their details, eliminate duplicate names, and report any deceased individuals still on the rolls.

He also emphasized that citizens have a constitutional right to be listed correctly and that the forms required for verification are readily accessible. The Vice President’s appeal was directed at every “brother and sister” of the nation, seeking their cooperation to complete the SIR successfully.
