Delhi Minister Mishra Attacks CJP and AAP Ahead of Punjab Polls

Ahead of the Punjab assembly elections, Delhi minister Kapil Mishra has intensified his criticism of the Aam Aadmi Party and its supporters. Mishra targeted Arvind Kejriwal along with CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, describing the group as 'rented revolutionaries.'

His comments came after the Delhi Police Crime Branch sent summons to CJP leaders. Mishra said the summons had exposed the group and claimed that the public had already seen through their activities.

Mishra said that Delhi's voters had rejected Kejriwal and predicted a similar outcome for the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. He further alleged that CJP-linked people were working in Kejriwal's favour and staging protests under different names to create anarchy.

Speaking in New Delhi, he added that CJP members were working on Kejriwal's salary. He insisted that the public fully understood this arrangement.

Mishra also reacted to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's comments on opposition protests in Delhi. He said these demonstrations were a mere excuse, with the real intention being to stir unrest in the country. In his words, Naxalites, jihadists and the corrupt had joined hands, and voters had repeatedly rejected them in elections. He accused them of trying to spread disorder through lies and chaos.

He also cited a recent Fox News report, which claimed that protests in France and India had similar groups, individuals and funding sources. Mishra said the people of India knew the truth and had already turned away from these forces.

On the RCL match, Mishra said that a contest between saints and film stars was a good idea and that its underlying objective deserved praise.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan extended his congratulations to both teams for coming together with this vision. He said he wished for faith to triumph. Paswan also appreciated the organisers for continually proposing ideas to reduce food wastage and make nutritious meals available to the needy.
