Delhi Metro’s PDGM Highlights Hindi Integration Across Operations

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s Performance‑Driven Governance Model (PDGM) has earned the prestigious Kirti Award (First Prize) for its outstanding Hindi language integration. The award was conferred on 14 September 2026 at the Hindi Diwas function and the sixth All‑India Language Conference in Navi Mumbai.

Union Home and Co‑Operation Minister Amit Shah personally handed the award to Dr. Vikas Kumar, Managing Director of DMRC, while Finance Director Ajit Sharma and Human Resources Chief Jayashri Sharma witnessed the ceremony. The award is a testament to DMRC’s systematic approach of embedding Hindi in operational manuals, digital passenger apps, technical manuals and employee training curricula.

In his remarks, Dr. Kumar thanked the entire workforce, affirming that their dedication has turned Hindi into a powerful tool for efficient service delivery and public engagement across the metro network.
