Delhi Leaders Accuse Mohan Bhagwat of ‘Leaving Words Behind’ in New York

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and other Delhi legislators criticised Bhagwat for apparently giving two different messages – one in New York and another in Maharashtra. Raut questioned who says Muslims cannot dance garba, calling the VHP’s restriction “purely communal”. He reminded the audience that Muslims have historically contributed to India’s independence and cultural heritage. Both parties asked the RSS chief to comment publicly, warning that divergent statements from the same leader could erode the nation’s secular character.
