Delhi Demonstrations Spark Allegations of Election Manipulation, Says Jharkhand Congress

Ranchi, October 10 – Jharkhand Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh launched a verbal attack on the central government and the Election Commission after the anti‑CPI(M) protest in Delhi. He claimed the authorities are using intimidation to hide a stolen election.

He described how the metro service was shut down, trains from other states were halted, and airline ticket prices were hiked dramatically during the protest. Large contingents of police were reportedly deployed to block peaceful gatherings.

Kamlesh accused election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of facilitating vote‑theft, saying similar tactics have been witnessed in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Bihar. He asserted that roughly thirteen crore voters have had their names removed from the electoral database through coordinated conspiracies.

Labeling the government's behavior as "dictatorial," the leader urged the party to intensify its outreach, with Rahul Gandhi taking the issue from the streets to the parliament.
