Delhi Council Increases Night Hours for Public Restrooms in Busy Kanpur Area

Delhi’s municipal authority has taken another step to boost public convenience by extending the night schedule of eleven public sanitation units at Kanpur Place. From 4 September onward, these restrooms will remain open until 00:00 hours. Chairman Manoj Kumar Dwivedi highlighted that the area stays vibrant well into the night, and the longer operating window is intended to meet the needs of late‑hour pedestrians. The selected toilets are situated near key intersections such as S.B.S. Road, Outer Circle, Middle Circle and adjacent blocks. NDMC will monitor usage trends and consider similar extensions for other sites based on demand.
