Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had a busy day on October 30, beginning with a courtesy meeting with President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi and continuing with a visit to a charity bazaar and the inauguration of the Goa Sadan.

The Chief Minister held a courtesy meeting with the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The discussion was informal and covered the development of Delhi and the city's welfare schemes. In her message, the Chief Minister spoke highly of the President's simplicity and warmth, and of her devotion to social upliftment and the nation's interests. She thanked the President for her time, guidance and blessings.

Earlier, Ms Gupta visited the 'Diwali Bazaar 2026' organised by the Blind Relief Association and urged residents to attend.

In a post on X, she asked citizens to make their festive shopping meaningful. Visually impaired individuals, working with several organisations, are selling handmade products at the bazaar. The money raised will support free education and vocational training for visually impaired children and youth.

The bazaar will remain open from October 30 to November 5. The Chief Minister encouraged people to visit, shop and support the initiative, and congratulated the organisation on its work.

Later, she attended the inauguration of the rebuilt Goa Sadan at Chanakyapuri. She said the building reflects Goa's rich cultural heritage, traditions and distinct identity, and will help strengthen ties between Delhi and Goa, including administrative coordination and cooperation.

She also extended greetings to the people of Goa. Cabinet colleague Ashish Sood, Goa Government minister Digambar V. Kamat and several other distinguished guests were present at the event.
