Delhi Authorities Transfer Arrested Ugandan Citizens to Detention Center

After being detained in Dwarka, the two Ugandan women were escorted to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in Delhi. FRRO officials verified their illegal status and arranged for their placement in the Service Sabh detention facility located in Shahjahanabad, Sarai Rohilla. The Delhi police have confirmed that the matter will now proceed under the relevant immigration statutes, with potential deportation on the horizon. The ongoing foreigner verification campaign in the district, led by senior police officials, will continue to identify and act against other overstayers.
