In a shocking development from Delhi’s Asola area, a 24-year-old man from Rajasthan ended his life by hanging on March 6 evening. Dilip Kumar Bairwa, employed as a security guard, was staying temporarily in Jhanda Colony with a relative’s son when the grim discovery unfolded.
The alarm was raised when Dilip’s brother-in-law called the relative on Friday, concerned over his unreachable phone. Harimohan Chaube Ram and his son checked the room, only to break open the door after no response. There hung Dilip from the fan using a nylon rope, a scene that stunned everyone.
Maidangarhi police arrived promptly, summoning forensic experts who scoured the site for clues. Their initial assessment rules out murder or external interference, classifying it as a suicide case. The body underwent post-mortem procedures as legal formalities proceed.
Hailing from Karauli’s Bholupura under Kudgaon police station, Dilip had moved to Delhi for work opportunities. The community mourns this young life cut short, while police appeal for tips to ensure all angles are covered in their ongoing investigation.
