Defense Ministry Sets Agenda for NCC Strengthening Meeting

The Ministry of Defence has outlined a comprehensive plan for the upcoming Guwahati conference, scheduled for 15 October. The meeting will be overseen by Defence Minister Sanjay Seth and will feature senior officials from the NCC Directorate General, as well as high‑ranking state representatives.

Discussion points will include institutional strengthening, resource allocation, and the creation of a unified command structure to streamline operations. Emphasis will be placed on improving training modules, expanding welfare schemes for cadets, and enhancing coordination between central and state authorities.
